News has been traveling through the grapevine of the mortgage industry regarding the rise of mortgage rates throughout 2019.

An article on suggests a few additional things to think about during 2019.  According to the article, Danielle Hale, chief economist for, predicts an increase in housing sales amongst cities with more-affordable homes.  A few of the examples given are Chattanooga, TN, Tulsa, OK, and El Paso, TX.
